You can ignore this, its just a rant.

Okay there are lots of things that suck about being a part time college student. I can't use the gym, I don't get a student card, My grades don't get updated online at midterm, I have to go to school at night and there are a lot of fun events I miss out on. But do I ever complain? nope. I just accept it. But this is the straw that broke the cammel's back:

The school's book store used to sell monthy buss passes at a discounted rate to all Humber students, full or part time. You just have to give them your admit to class fourm to prove your a student there. Just now when I went to get in line to buy a buss pass, one of the people who work there wanted to see my student card. I explained that only full time students get student cards, but I had my admit to class fourm. She sayed that they only give the discounts to students who are not working and are only going to school. She just assumed that I was working because I am going to school part time, and thus I could pay the full price of $109.00.

I told her that no, I'm not working, I am only going to school. Then she sayed "but your part time, you CAN work, she is going full time and she CAN'T work and so she CAN'T AFFORD the full price. Which is why we offer a student discount" (She was referring to a full time student in the line). I was so pissed off I told the sales woman "Well then, I'll go to Shoppers' Drug Mart for the buss pass. YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER!" And left. Damn thats so unlike me, I'm normaly quiet and wouldn't have sayed anything...-___-;

But seriusly, this is rediculus! Not only becuse the discount used to be for all Humber students, but the full time student could be working part time. Who sayed that because she goes to school during the day she can't work eavnings and weekends? I am not working at all, just going to school at night! Do I not deserve the student discount too?
