(I just felt like updating my journal.)

Well, I am on Christmas vacation right now. I have written my exams and I am pretty sure I have passed my Humanities class. Although, I think I did poorly on the comm 200 exam. I might need to re-take the class. -__- Oh well, some good news is that I have finished decorating the house, and am done Christmas shopping. Yesterday I went down to Cloverdale mall and bought Ron a DVD box set of a TV show he likes, and a new dog collar for my dog, Sandwell. I also bought myself some plushies and FMA volume 19. I have wanted to buy this manga for the longest time, but I never did buy it thinking I would get it at Anime North, or buy it with Christmas money. I was so surprised to find out that while I was waiting to buy that volume two more had been published! XD Well, because of that I decided to get volume 19, and buy the other two volumes with Christmas money or at Anime North.

Speaking of Anime North, reminds me of something. At Anime North last spring, I bought an Orihime plushie and once I got home I realized that her foot was sewn on wrong. Now the same thing happened again. I had bought myself another plushie and when I got home, I realized that one leg is longer than the other. XD And now that I think about it every so often, I buy a manga with a ripped page or a smudge in it somewhere, lol. I think that I am one of those people who are prone to buying lemons. XD

Oh well, I am really looking forward to Christmas and Boxing Day now that the shopping and decorating is done. Now, you may be thinking to yourselves, “I understand being excited about Christmas, but why Boxing Day?” Because of several reasons: one is because I am going downtown with my friend to see a movie, and eat at my favorite “sit-down” restaurant the Pickle Barrel. Another reason is that I’ll be able to do some Boxing Day shopping. I want to get the other two FMA volumes, Bleach volume 29, an MP3 player and some DVDs. The only thing is that it is always busy on Boxing Day, but the stores normally close early on Sundays (the day after). Maybe going on the Monday would be best. That way it shouldn't be as bussy, the movie will still be in theaters and the sales still on.

Well the only other things that are new right now, are that The job agency I'm with is startting to send my resume out to places, and the supply teacher agency sent me an xmass card and a scarf. Its nice of them to send everyone Christmass gifts and all, but they still have not sent me the new time cards I asked for weeks ago. :/

This is just a random entry, I just wanted to replace the "part time rant" journal. Well, there are a bunch of things going on lately.

I signed up with two agencies. One is a job agency, and the other is a supply teacher agency. The job agency will start helping me find a good job soon, and the supply teacher agency is sending me to different daycare centers right now. Its an on-call kind of job and so I don't know my scedual, but I know I'll be working at least a few days a week. Its not the best job, but its better than nothing, also It will alow me to get more experience in this feild. More importantly, I'll be able to afford to see movies, buy Manga and eat out from time to time. Also, now I will have enough money to buy Christmas presents.

Speaking of Christmas, I'm going to do christmass decoratting this weekend. My mom bought a new tree, it comes with little white lights on it. Its really pretty (the lights kinda look like fireflys). I reeeeaaally want a laptop for christmass, but I think my mom is going to get me a personal GPS system. Its not as awsome as a laptop but, I'll never get lost again! XDD Also, I asked for xxxHolic vol 14 and TRC vol 23. I still need FMA vol 19 and Bleach vol 29, mabby I'll get them at the next Anime North convention this Spring...?

Oh I can't wait for Anime North this spring! I'm already making an "Anime Con Shopping List". XD And I am SO going to the rave party this time! XD I'll bring glow sticks, It will be fun!~

Well right now I need to studdy my Humanities text book, and write a essay for Comm 200 (a college level writting class).

LOL my placement is finaly finnished and my night class is over this Tuesday, my "Summer break" starts soon! Placement was a finantial and emotional pain! I spent so much money on props for my acctivities I wouldn't be suprized if it was over $100 and no matter what I did the children wouldn't listen to me! DX It was so stressful, I'm glad it's over and done with! Althogh I have to start job hunting again, I'm going to enjoy the summer! I'm going to draw whenever I get the chance, go swimming, go bike riding, go shopping and of course see movies with my freind . ^^

LOL, I wanted to post a journal entry right after Anime North but I've been so darn busy lately I forgot! XD Well my first Anime Con was so much fun! I only went for the Friday but I might go all three days next year. In the registration line up there was a guy dressed up like Batman. Batman was laughing at another person who dressed up as a "rent-a-minion". XD There were people who dressed up as characters from my fav manga Bleach, their costumes were so good! They even had plushies of themselves on their solders. XD When I got through registration, I found myself in the Artist's ally. At first I thought I was in the dealer's room because I didn't see a sign. XD LOL, Well I bought three book marks and a monkona mondoki (black) phone charm. Then it was on to the Dealers room and boy oh boy was I ever surprized, the place was huuuge! The first booth there was so busy and I can understand why, they were selling inexpensive plushies, hats and manga! I grabbed myself a monkona mondoki (black) plushy for only ten bucks. Then I went on browsing through all the booths. I found a cute Orihime keychain although it was kind of pricy for a keychain (seven bucks). I couldn’t find any good bleach key chains for a lower price that I liked so I ended up buying that one. The funny thing is right after that I found one I liked for only three dollars! XD ahaha, live and learn right? The next things I bought were a nice hand held fan, some juice and some chocolate pocky. While browsing I saw someone who dressed up as Orihime from bleach. Her costume was really good she even had the hairpins, and then I saw some people who dressed up as Grimmjow and Yurichi to name a few. I wonder if they all came as a group? Then I found a stand selling inexpensive kitty hats and headbands. I decided to get a headband; the one I got has black with pink in the ears, and lace on the part of the band in between where the ears are. I wore it for the rest of the con! XD Oh ya! At that stand, while I was buying my headband and I saw someone in an unusual costume. She was dressed up as a cereal box! It was yellow and designed to look like a cheerios box, but it was called "YU-GI-OHs!" and had a drawing of Yami Yugi on the front. XD rotfl I wanted to take a picture but she was gone moments after I bought my headband. Then I found a stand selling first generation Pokemon stuff, they had an eevee plushy that was in good condition and it only cost five dollars! After this I went back to the artists ally and there was a wrestling match going on! XD I decided to sit and watch because my feet hurt from all that walking around, lol it was quite amusing. Then I went to the art gallery that was there and looked to the drawings and such. When I was there one of the Con staff started an announcement saying something around the lines of "People please reframe from touching the art....if your child touches the artwork, they will be added to the collection." XD I couldn't help but laugh at this. After that I went back to the dealers’ room and bought some plushies and manga. I wanted to stay for the rave party, but I couldn't figure out where it was or how to get there, so I decided to go home. On my way back to the buss stop, I saw the party going on, I walked right by it! XD Oh well I'll go to the rave next year and drag with me, lol! >
